Welcome to Carlsbad
OUR VILLAGE by the SEA
The residents of Carlsbad (or as the locals call it, “The Village by the Sea”) aren’t strangers to luxe living. This growing community had a clear need for upscale amenities that matched the discerning taste of its residents without having to make the 35-mile drive south to San Diego.

La Costa Towne Square proved to be the perfect opportunity to create a central gathering spot for Carlsbad and the nearby cities of Encinitas, La Costa, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, and Solana Beach. A plaza that was beyond its heyday, there was still much to be said about La Costa’s central location and charming Spanish Revival-style architecture—a signature design element of Southern California that captures the essence of North County Coastal.

The result is a crisp-white, Terracotta-roofed, high-end shopping-meets-community center: The Beacon La Costa. Rounding out its appeal and convenience are a cast of premier tenants — from locally-owned businesses to nationally lauded brands — in retail, dining, and entertainment.
